Patch was an orphaned foal and was hand raised by us for a few weeks while we could find a foster mum. So being an orphan and around humans so much so early in life we have always had the issue with him of who is the boss. Patch had been broken in and ridden for about 12 months when the problems began, it seemed to be that everything you wanted patch to do he would do the opposite.
So for the last half of that show season we had a mad bucking horse that just wanted to do his own thing. My dad took over the riding of patch but things just got worse. After the show season I decided that it was now or never for patch, he had to change and behave or be sold. A friend of mine had had Jason out to help her with her yearling colt and recommended him to me to send Patch for some education. Jason did a lot of work with patch within a month of training I could see the turn around in patch was 100% improvement.
When Patch came home he went to the paddock for a 6 week break, when he came back into work I had no hesitation to ride him what so ever. Since then Patch and I have never looked back! In the show ring he is perfectly behaved and winning ribbons in both led and ridden constantly.
I thank Jason for all the work he has put into Patch and I know Patch would not be where he is today without his help. I strongly recommend Jason to anyone who wants help in any aspect with their horse, and I will continue to send my young ones to Jason to be broken in, in the future.
